Certainly do and I still have the details you sent me. Unfortunately I am so skint I can't justify the cost, even though I think it's good value for money.
Actually, the dive school I gave you has closed (retired) I'm now with Aquatechnique down near Palmers Garden Centre, a bigger outfit, they have their own pool. A bit skint? Sounds like a birthday present to me ^_^

Edit: just checked they do a discover scuba course in their pool for £25 which is super valuefor what you will learn and do.

Yes, I just saw the £25 deal, too. Maybe I'm not so skint after all.

I have an old mate from Coventry coming up for the weekend. No - it is not dave r ...

We have known each other nearly half a century now, a fact which leaves me feeling pretty stunned!

He is not a cyclist, so I'll see if I can persuade him to walk over a few of the local hills instead. If he thinks the hills will be too much, there are a couple of nice level walks we could go on.

Riding a 55 miler on my new bike from Wallsend to Whalton to Seaton Delaval to Tynemouth then back to Wallsend on Sunday. I will be taking my time getting used to the SPD pedals. On Monday taking my bike back to shop cos I dont think the gears are set up correctly (heavy chain chatter on two smallest cogs at the back while being on the large cog at the front.
If I see you on the section between Deleval and Tynemouth I'll keep a wide berth while you get used to them Clipless pedals Gman

NT and I will be doing some DIY over the weekend, and then on Monday we go to my Mum's for a night, and then onto my sister's. Haven't seen her and my nephews since Christmas, so am really looking forward to it.
