I am looking to replace rim on mountain bike, 26 in.

Currently have mavic X517 front and mavic X717 rear; idea is to replace with same size rims so that I can re-use the spokes. No doubt someone will pipe up that re-using spokes is a bad idea but these spokes are from 1994 and have had 2 or 3 rims put on and not one has failed yet.

Anyways, the data I am after is the inner diameter to the spoke eyelet of rims, don't suppose anyone has seen that?

(will try mavic or just get mavic rim and hope the spokes willl fit)

By using a spoke calculator, you can iterate through the rims you are willing to consider, and see which one requires the same for your currently setup.

Spocalc in the Sheldon Brown link that Hubgearfreak posted contains dimensions for many rims.
