Did you manage to squeeze past, or did one of the wheels accidentally brush against his car?

The other people I hate are those who cannot read

A wheelchair and hoist needs space, so we tend to park at the end of a row so we have space, but don't take up too much space in the parking allocation

Then there is a big sign saying that we need at least 4 feet of space

Come back to find a BMW parked on the yellow lines with its bumper touching the back of the car

Fortunately the Police here are quite good at phoning the drivers and telling them to return and move the car

1. People who reach over you
At the bar in a pub waiting to be served and someone will always lean over you and try to get served first, or in a supermarket when they simply lean over to get to a shelf. You soon learn that armpits are not the best odour

2. People who step over you
All the time, in a queue, in a shop or just in a busy street, people simply step over your legs

3. People who cannot see you
People will just walk in front of you, or even worse walk in front of you and just stop. Luckily these motors act as efficient brakes

4. People who stand in doorways
Why converse, meet your friends, in a doorway?
Surely stepping a few feet into the shop or to one side would be more sensible

5. Lifts
The number of shops that have lifts, but they have been broken for months, because they "don't get used much"

Hell yeah, pavement parking becomes a serious issue when you're pushing a wheelchair. Had a discussion once with a driver over this and came painfully close to thumping him, he was so rude and objectionable when I politely challenged him. It was only the potential loss of job that held me back.

Just plough on regardless and leave a trail of broken wing mirrors in your wake.
