I would completely agree with the what you eat but quantity certainly comes into it. I still maintain your largest meal of the day "should" be your first.

Again not that I do it!

It should be as big as it needs to be relative to the timing and content of your next meal and within your total calorie intake for the day.

If it takes you eating 6 small portions a day do that, if it takes 3 or 4 larger portions, thats fine also.

If your writing a diet/training plan for someone then I would agree small meals in relation to activity done throughout the day. Obviously eating all your meals at Breakfast time is not the best way to live you life. Although I think steak and chips at 7am would set me right up for the day!
