When do you put your Xmas decorations up?

Question prompted by the fact that I've seen people with their trees and lights up already whilst out walking the dog. And, of course, the shops have had theirs up since October!!!

Will put mine up at work on 1st December mainly because I sit opposite a right "bah humbug" type and love ramming the Xmas cheer down his throat

The house ones will go up on a weekend around the middle of December.

Both sets will be back down around 3rd Jan this year.

Put ours up after our little girls have gone to bed on the evening of 17th December. When they get up on the morning of the 18th, it is our oldests birthday, and it makes it an even more magical day for her!!!

My wife does the Christmas decorations, not me and she always puts them up way too early in December. They shouldn’t go up until Christmas eve, and then they need to be taken down again by the Sunday following the 6th Jan.

Put them up last weekend, earlier than normal and only because other committments mean we won't get another chance. Makes the house all nice and cosy anyway.

2nd week. And i love it.Bit of a softy. But as kids we had home made paper chains.Amongst the trimmings. All gummed together made by ourselves.Balloons everywhere. Not a spare space anywhere.I love the colour of it all.We have a full floor to ceiling tree,We even have to move the telly for three weeks to get it in.
