I wasn't out with her, but someone over took my Mum quite closely when she was cycling home. She sort of waved her hand for a give more space gesture, then left it.

When she turned off the road, she saw the car which had passed close on a side road...and she decided to go tell the driver off.

*knock knock knock* on the car's window - "Would you mind giving some more space in the future?!". Driver gave a pathetic..."well...I didn't hit you, did I?" as response ;).

Soo...moral of the story, when I'm not getting told off for doing something wrong, silly motorists are getting words of warning by my Mum .

(thankfully, she doesn't make a big habit out of either)

Have you told her about the throw a punch at the drivers face, only to miss their nose by millimetres....then quote the line back to them about didn't hit you...did I? ;)

that seems to be quite a common response. on another thread one of the comments was to throuw a punch stopping millimetres from their face, then saying "i didnt hit you did i!".
