Am I right in thinking the shortage is down to the bike manufacturers not being able to get the parts?
ie - they can't get shimano parts so can't build the bikes?
Makes you realise how many bike manufacturers rely on shimano!
Buy a different brand? Sigma have a fair few high end bikesCertainly not before the end of this year !!! ?
Was hoping to get myself a high end giant - no chance
Read somewhere a Shimano factory in Malaysia has been closed due to vivid.
Increased demand, Brexit , pandemic all contributing.
Thanks for the offer but after Ultegra 172.5 mid compact 52/36, My advice is either keep as a spare or eBay it and you will get nearly full price I would guessIf you need a 170mm 105 compact, I'll have a nearly new one by the end of the week
