I started there too! Then took another couple of punts - somewhere USA looking (long straight roads with scrub either side. Boring), A south american looking dirt track, the 3rd go and in Holland, canals, cycle paths and 3km from Oostende- relatively easy.

I clicked "stealth", generated a new view, and was stuck in the middle of a large desert, with absolutely stuff-all to be seen. After many arrow-clicks, I found a street sign saying something like "Torocbih". I think it might be Slovenia, somewhere...

... a long, long, long way down the road, I found the town of БАЯКДЗЛГЭР. Still no idea where I am.

Actually, calling it a "town" is being generous: it had about 4 buildings, not big ones.

839.2 miles from the correct location, in the USA. Should have zoomed in a bit first.
