A quick Google doesn't seem to show much evidence that they're declining, but so far this year I've only seen one whereas normally these regal lilies are being ripped to shreads.

This is the best I've seen them for years.

There certainly isn't a shortage of black fly..
I think that's what there called.. maybe blight.
Stems of flowers are covered in them

Not around here! I was saying to my sister last weekend that I hardly ever see wasps these days. I was terrified of them when I was a child (after an unfortunate 'brick in a wasp nest' incident as a toddler ) and was plagued by them every summer.

they have a long memory them waspy chaps

Are you another person that doesent like wasps?
In which case I wont mention wasps.
In fact the word wasp wont pass my lips.
Mrs Dave got stung 2 years ago. Just sat there and the little barsteward landed on her arm and stung her TWICE. I could see the smug smile on its face as it flew off.

Only t’other week, on a downhill lane, with speed bumps, I got daggered in the neck twice by a chavvy wasp!!

Had to have an ice cream to cool the inside of my neck down!!

I am allergic to Wasps and greatly afeared of them and they know this. They hunt me down in packs so they can stick their stingers in me then they all have a great party afterwards laughing their stripes off at my reaction. The Bastards
