Mini pumps on brackets on the frame on the road bikes. When MTBing one of them comes off and goes in the rucksack.

Pumps I carry are up to which bike I ride and up to what kind of ride.
When going with a beginners group I normally carry a mini track pump on my back basket, because I have to inflate most of the wheels before we can start
If I'm out myself, the smaller pump will be in the rucksack or panniers or just tied to the back rack.
