Fed up with getting oil marks on my socks/trainers/trousers. Where can I get a guard for my chainring, either original Shimano or aftermarket? It's 48t elliptical Biopace.

Have searched and found a couple on old Ebay listings, but nowhere else.

It's very unlikely you'll find anything to fit. Chainsets are usually designed to take chain guards, or not. These weren't designed with that in mind.

Trouser clips are your friend, or cycling shorts/MTB baggies.

Thanks, so it looks like I can source a s/hand Shimano guard as in my Ebay link, nothing else will fit? I've got clips, but if I wear trainers that are slightly padded around the top, they get oily marks on them. Occasionally socks to get slight oil marks. Thanks for your reply.

I doubt that 'guard' will fit but without trying it I can't say for sure, good luck.
