< Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Although when I was born, the People's Republic of South Yorkshire didn't exist. Most of Sheffield was in the old West Riding of Yorkshire (bits were in Derbyshire) - not to be confused with the modern 'West Yorkshire', which ain't the same thing. In fact Sheffield and Leeds were in the same county when I hatched; now one is in SY, the other in WY...
