Saw Runrig at the Usher Hall this evening, they were fabulous as usual. I've lost count of how many times I've seen them, it's over 20. Really enjoying their new (and last ) album, it's sad and reflective and rather wonderful. And it's introduced me to a new word, bocage.
In case anyone was wondering, having looked it up, bocage seems to be the name given to the hedgerow patterned landscape of Normandy that the Allies had to break through after D-Day. The hedgerows favoured the defending Germans and the Battle of the Bocage as it became known wasn't won until August. The things you learn from Runrig
