I'm another one for cycling in all weathers. Rain is no bother. Wind is a pain in the arse though.

Generally I see wind as a challange, although it has been known to 'challange' me over sideways when very strong, its the ice I dont like. Icey roads and folding bikes don't mix well.

The problem with rain on the way in, is that I have nowhere to dry my cycle stuff, so I have to put cold wet clothes back on to cycle home!

Agreed. Cycled in but did do a few detours in an attempt to get out of the full on head wind. Don't think it worked very well though. Sometimes you just have to grin and bear it.

I think I deserve double ticker points today though

I noticed that there were a few more empty cycle stands than normal at the other end though I did see plenty of cyclists on my route. It was hard going though into the wind... came home to find my bin has blown over to prove it was windy.

Seems to be pretty similar in Liverpool. Damp with a hint of drizzle, but windy down the dock road and don't think I saw a single other cyclist. I just gave up trying to push against the wind and cruised along in a granny gear.

No rain here, just windy - and looking at the trees outside, it will be even more "exciting" on the way home tonight.

+1 - headwind this morning meant extra 5 minutes, only light drizzle though so not so bad.

not looking forward to the route home, as it involves a busy road with nasty crosswinds. Might have to take the riverside path (though calling it a river is a bit ambitious) . Have to wear the buff though to stop eating flies, and it is a little bumpy for a Brompton in odd places.

Not to mention the "Brompton Sail" AKA the bag on the front - I'm sure thats the reason I can't get my average speed up
