I just found this nice infogram on the website of our local reasonably priced wine shop:

So if you're paying £5 for a bottle of Hardy's Stamp then here's an explanation of why it tastes of sulphites with a hint of naff wine!

The shop's website is here http://www.winesofinterest.co.uk/ if you're interested.

No bottle of wine need cost more than a fiver... it's all the same. They make it all in a big factory near Chepstow and label it differently.

As a student, I used to enjoy a bottle or 5 of a fine wine called "Villa Radiosa" in order to get as p*ssed as possible before leaving the flat for a night out. At just £2.50 a bottle, we lovingly referred to it as "Vile Radiosa", but given that there's 11 pence worth of wine in a £5 bottle, that means that technically the shop should have been paying me £2.39 to take the wine away.

I wonder where I can claim my refund?!!..

How much does it cost to Oldham?
I'm still yet to try bucky, is it a cheeky little number?

I had a good few "oh dear" nights on thunderbird when I was a lad.
