The Junction in Otley is a good pub. Round here, The Boat at Redbrook in the Wye Valley is nice, and the Cherry Tree at Tintern was a great place - part pub, part Post Office and part village shop, as a pub should be - but it's closed at the moment, tragically.

Elsewhere, Beacon Hotel in Sedgley is pretty fantastic and Great Western in Wolverhampton.

Ooh, yes. And the Newhampton, which admittedly isn't as good as it used to be. The Chindit in Wolverhampton is also good, and there's always a chance you'll catch The Rhythm Thieves there on a Friday night.

+1 for the Victoria. I'm unconvinced by The Welly - beer's good, but the place lacks any atmosphere.

In Brum has got to be The Anchor in Digbeth, which has long been me favourite pub. Elsewhere, Beacon Hotel in Sedgley is pretty fantastic and Great Western in Wolverhampton.

Never got into The Anchor. I cycle past it almost every day. I tried to get in at 22:55 on my Stag Night, but they wouldn't admit us. Sounds like a New Year's resolution to visit here.

I like most of the pubs in York. Some I don't go in for a good reason, too noisy, don't do good beer etc.
