Okay, I've just ordered a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt GPS cycle computer, but it's the unbundled version, as it looks like the sensor-bundled version is out of stock in the UK until the latter half of April, and I want to be able to use the Bolt for some rides next weekend.
I'd still like to get Cadence and Speed sensors, though (and probably a HRM later, though not so keen on a chest strap, so may get a Scosche RHYTHM+ armband: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/05/scosche-antbluetooth-optical.html ), but am unsure which would be best to get - the Wahoo RPM and Speed sensors, or the Garmin Cadence and Speed sensors. Both of these are the "modern" type, that don't need a magnet on the spokes. The Wahoo units are smaller and support *both* Bluetooth and Ant+, but the Garmin Cadence sensor looks easier to transfer to other bikes (which would be useful for me), as uses a rubber band system (different sizes are supplied), rather than glue or zip ties, like the Wahoo unit. I've also read that the Garmin units seem to be more reliable than the Wahoo sensors, but I don't know how true that is or not.
Are there any compelling reasons to go for either the Wahoo or for the Garmin sensors? Does anyone have experience of both? Are there any other sensors worth considering (the type without spoke magnets only please!) They about the same price, though the Garmins can be found a little cheaper
