Until you can average 23 or 24mph you're wasting your money. Aero wheels make fast riders go a bit faster, they do nothing for someone struggling to break evens.

Are tri-spoke wheels even race legal?

I had a Planet X 82 on the front before I sold my TT bike, to be honest it was old school profile and very bad in the slightest breeze not giving any confidence in going fast and handling. I tended to fit my superstar 30mm rim if I thought it was anything other than "still" which was far more stable and I was able to go just as fast.
Was only thinking about you the other day @jamma wondering how you were getting on, you've obviously bought a TT bike then, which one? Are you TTing this year or racing?

BTW I thought tri spoke was supposed to be the best.

I did a bit of testing with rear wheels towards the end of last season . I swapped the disk for a 90mm and beat the times i had done with the disk . Lots of other factors involved i am sure but this was on the same courses in the same season .
50mm on the front .

Cool, how's your training coming on, how do you feel? I reckon your times will tumble.

Started at a time of 31:37 but got it down to 29:15 on the second last night was on for 28:59 for last on of the last season but fell short due to a tractor pulling out and going slowly with traffic coming the other way to.
