Which part of your bike do you let touch the lamppost/wall/fence?

Generally on the bar tape as its easy to replace. After my first few frame scratches I stopped caring and now wear each 'scar' with pride! Each has its own little story. It's not a show bike, its used for commuting and dumping in the back of the car for sportives! Pretty sure I can recall the origin of most scratches too!

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Some saddles have a hard plastic bumper at the back/side for leaning against things. An alternative is to drive the bike up to a post with the front wheel just to one side, trapping the post between the front wheel and the hoods or the bend of the bars. I'm sure I've seen a picture of it but I can't find it now.

Well here is "The lampost Hold". Works well on the post I usually stop at, but some posts are wider than this.
