"Stayin' Alive". I first thought of that as a joke, but considering my recent brush with the Reaper, it may be deeper than I first thought.
Seriously though, I'm also moved by songs about war. Two spring to mind:
Dire Straits' "Brothers in Arms" and Jackson Browne's Lives in the Balance.
Both guaranteed to reduce me to bittersweet tears.

Perhaps its due to the video which seems to paint a picture of innocence and optomism evaporating with the onset of maturity and the ageing process...............
I've always loved this song and it's very moving.
I also think Daddy's Gone by Glasvegas is amazing. Again very moving. Even more so now I've got kids.

I'm surprised none of you German types have chosen "Wind of Change" by The Scorpions!
I have a very close German friend who lives in the UK now, but she was actually on the Berlin Wall on the day it came down - she's a teenager somewhere in the crowd in those famous TV pictures that were broadcast all over the world. She always cries when she hears that song (which I think is cute and gives me an excuse to hug her ... not that I need one!
).
