At this stage, I don't really need a full-blown rack and trunk bag solution, but I do want more carrying capacity than my current wedgie bag affords without breaking the bank.
I like the idea of either the Topeak Dynapack or having it been pointed out in another thread, the Altura Arran. Both would appear to offer enough storage for my tools, spare tube, overshoes, waterproof jacket and snacks, and both are waterproof (a good thing if you've read my other posts today!).
My question is will either actually fit? My Ridgeback Flight has a couple of inches of tube sticking out above the top tube, with a further 2.5" or so before the seat post takes a bend (see attached pic)... I'm guessing the simpler looking fixing for the Altura might be a safer bet?
If I decided just to go for an MTX beamrack instead, which type would fit properly – V-type or E-type? (frame size is 56cm).
