Another vote for the Aldi stand here - it looks pretty much the same as most linked to in this thread - is there any significant difference between them (other than QR levers on clamps)? I'm happy with it and so is my back.

I can recommend this OP.

If you can wait it will probably turn up in their New Year sale a bit cheaper.

Quite light but perfectly stable.

Very easy to use

They come up in store every couple of months or so, I mentioned buying a stand to the wife a while back and she said she'd seen them on offer so picked one up while shopping.

Might be worth an ask in store/ email as they bought quite a few!.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
I have same one as Blue Hills. Wait until they are on offer.
^^ - which is the same as the Biketool one sold by Ribble (£57.00), which is the same as the Raleigh one, often sold at £89.99, which is the same as that sold under many other names. Shop around, it's a great workstand and it is often discounted. Good reviews, it's a good deal at £57, but you might find it for even less.

@Wetdog I notice you're in Warrington.

I think I have a workstand that I no longer use in my garage. I will have a look when I get home, to see if I did keep it or not.

If you've not already purchased one, you're welcome to take it free of charge.

I do have the stand. Just need to dig it out from behind the boxes. Which I will do tomorrow. And give you a pm with my address if you want it.
