Apparently the Council were going to send some stripper round but the cyclists all gave her the brush-off.

Apperently the council sent a man round to put a warning sign , up , typical council , the job never got finished , the worker couldn't hold his 'Hammerite ' !

I hear he's been sent away on a primer that will cover it evenly.

I'm not sure, but you probably should let it dry and not touch it for several hours, then reapply.

I'm thinking of dropping a load of black paint on the path to counteract the white?.

Then the white will be grey and the black will be grey but the blues are still blue...
