As a rule, I've found it to be flat bed truck (FBT) drivers to be the worst. The ratio of FBTs on the road to incidents I've had has to be higher than with any other vehicle/ manufacturer.
All self-drive hire vans scare me.

Exceptions to every rule of course, but generally Volvo drivers are my least favourite. They give you no space, hog cycle lanes and NEVER indicate.

I never seem to have any probs with WVM or boy racers.

Then its BMW drivers, fast, arrogant and stupid- a dreadful combination. Avid nose pickers too as an aside.
Then its People carriers- often with that absurd 'child on board' sticker - as they roar past you within inches of your handlebars!

No yoghurt knitting here. I have a 5 year old S80, personal plate (why does that wind some folks up?), and indicate far more than the average, leave acres for cyclists or hang well back, and use all three mirrors... Maybe I am not typical, and perhaps the fact that I have had two wheels since I was about 5 or 6 years old helps as well.2 sorts of Volvo drivers IMO
The yoghurt knitter who needs their 500 year old 240 estate to take the rest of the Tofu Society's adopted orphans to the seaside, and ferry about their food co-operatives' sacks of lentils and textured vegetable protein chunks
Older 740s are now being used by the above too
Then the ones with the newer Volvos which are pointless, still tanks but without the cavernous boot, but more "sporty", driven by people who used to drive Audis before they became common.
I say this as I used to have an old Volvo and I do eat tofu, lentils and have some TVP mince in soak at this very moment![]()
