Who else got sun burnt today?

Ok so summers finally arrived and I went out for a ride but forgot the sun cream now im red in parts it wasnt until I had a shower that the stinging started now im sore

Commute home was only about 45 mins in duration so didn't get burned. It was the first time I felt properly warm sunshine on my face, since last September I'm looking forward to tomorrow already and intend to come home the long way! Might take cream, just incase...

I tell you Ian, coming across Blackfriars bridge this afternoon, I closed my eyes for a split second and I could have been heading for heaven, not South London*

Sadly stuck in an un-airconditioned office for most of the day but those blessed minutes in the sun and on the saddle were the best part, by a looooong way. No work tommorow so had the maps out tonight !

No sunburn as I didn't go out until 7.30pm,but it was the first time in 8 months I've been out in a short sleeve cycling top in the early evening and didn't feel the chill

In fact, it was the best evening I have had since I re-started cycling last September

Nice and warm and on my new go anywhere Tricross Sport......perfect

Half way to work, enroute through Chelsea, I stashed the HiViz jacket and helmet in my backpack. The wind in what's left of my hair, a flapping tee-shirt and the sun in my face. It felt like freedom.

No commuting for me, faute d'emploi, but after a couple of reps of the hill in Greenwich Park this evening I repaired to a pub garden, where I spent much of the night watching bats (at least 3 pipistrelles) hoovering up the flies. Even the bats know it's warm!

I got burned weekend before last amazingly, not too badly tho. Out for a biggie on Sunday so will have to buy some protection

i have that too! fingerless gloves as well so brown/white/brown along with the razor sharp tan lines from my jersey!!!

Yep... took Tuesday off work and joined sister and B.I.L. on the train from Settle to Kirby Stephen then cycled the 40 miles back, wore a cool weather long sleeve top and was too hot but at least my arms didn't get burned, put cream on the legs so they are OK but my nose got burned badly so in the office today I've no hope of hiding what I did and several people have commented already. D'Oh!
