Yup  yesterdays 4 hour ride saw me with red arms last night, bloody murder getting in the bath. The skin on my face feels tight as well.
My first bit of tanning this year.

I didnt get sunburnt, but very brown! I am trying to get a nice tan for the holiday in July and so far my arms have quite mice tan lines, and my legs are starting to get them as well.
I have a habbit of burning my neck, so will have to be careful of that.

A couple of us at work took some of the kids out for a days cycling, it must have been the hottest day of the year so far. We spent about 2hours off the bikes and this is when the damage was done. I am burned in several places but my bald head got the worst of it. Got small blisters on my head now, not too painful but they are weeping a bit. Glad the kids had more sense than me

Just had a nice ride up to our local reservoir

Well when I say up and nice......

The up bit nearly killed me, and the nice bit was when I got there ^_^

The reservoir is over this hill but I was too knackered to climb up to photograph it

No burns for me but 3 hrs 30 has got my tan lines starting to reappear. Lovely to wear shorts as it has been 3/4's for ages.
Did 2 bottles of High 5 and had raging thurst all afternoon whilst gardening. Had a bit of a fuzzy moment when standing back up.

Nice and cool at 5 am , could have done with leg warmers and thicker gloves tbh

I'm out about quarter past seven in the morning and its been cool, I have a light long sleeved jersey I use in the morning, it folds up small enough to put in my empty sandwich box for the ride home. I've not burned yet, but I've gone several shades darker, commuting in my work clothes I've no chance of working on my tan lines but should be able to on Sunday, I'll have to use sunscreen on the Sunday ride if its as sunny or I will burn.

Sunburn dying down a bit now, jumped on the bike after work and knocked out a 15mile run, so so hot and i was covered up to protect the sunburn. The heat was pretty full on. Tan lines developing nicely, the wife got a good laugh at my legs

Im a little frazzled. Nothing to do with the bike. Finished my course early today, then got phone call off my son asking if i fancied a few afternoon refreshments. Well it would have been rude to refuse, so after a couple of hours in the beer garden im a little red.

After my military service where it was punishable by imprisonment in the camp jail for getting sunburn the training has never left me and I have never been sunburnt.

I was out @ 5am, it looked pleasant so I braved my fingerless gloves - my hands were freezing for the first few miles

Blimey! - I honestly hadn't noticed until I read this thread.

Got a lovely red/white line where my sleeves came to from my ride today
