A 24hr shift and working for local government? They should be more careful as 24hrs could well be compromising the Working Time Regulations

Non-profit making organisation: our main purchasers are the local council.
I have a bed at work and will be on call 11pm - 7am.

Who ever is working, stay safe and keep well!

Just thinking about the Police, Nurses & ambalance staff and all other public sector workers. They don't get a Christmas bonus or massive pay awards. H a great one!

I'll be working Christmas eve and Chistmas day as a night porter of an empty hotel as there are no guests booked in but I still have to be there just incase anybody is looking for a room in the middle of the night, (there is plenty room at the inn)
It is a big old hotel with lots of noises through the night, The film "The Shinning" keeps comming to mind

Back at work this week and will be until mid January. I shall be trying not to do 12 hours on the day. And New Years Day. And to be honest, on as many other days as possible ;)

Job? Oil rig supply boat. The industry never stops

That sounds like a great job I wish I could do that for a while , see what it's like!
