I left the house at 0245 hours this morning. It was a short and steady circular route to/from South Queensferry.

Far from first, but I am on the board for 2016. A bit of wind and some ice on the hill tops, but no rain , so enjoyed it.

Nowhere near the first I suspect but I did set my alarm (Mrs D does appreciate the silent alarm on my fitbit), fortified myself with a large coffee and set off this morning. I wasn't going to miss a day like this with quiet roads

First in the States, I'd guess. Rode from the back of the coffee house to the front, found my club outside, as the coffee house, after telling us they would be open today, were not open today.
So we all rode to the Marriot, and took over their lobby.
Posh.
Good coffee, good conversation, good company.
I can't think of a better way to start the New Year.

Didnt get out ill nearly 3 pm , after fixing mums garage door i went to Band Q to buy a new rug for the lounge and a new kitchen cupboard door handle for mum, back to mums to fix it then home.
Didnt help that mrs ck did not surface till nearly 10 am

Yea, I got out this morning for 30KM, left home at 10:30 so the frost was gone by then. It was a tough ride home with the head-wind, plus I did a 53KM ride yesterday to get me over 3000KM for 2015, so my legs were a little tired, but I felt great afterwards !

Still, now Christmas is over, roll on Spring!

4:30am start for work , so set off at 3:30am. 5miles in , then did me 27 miles home well pleased as i havent done any longer rides for over a month.
