It sounds like some kind of yoof movement, which is never going to go down well here amongst the geriatric demographic we represent.

Kids having a bit of fun.

We were kids once, remember?

Yeah I remember, and I recall I did a few daft and mildly rebellious things. Knocking on doors and running away, cheeky can of lager and a crafy fag, cycling on my BMX in the shopping precinct. I don't recall pulling wheelies through red lights on Regent Street as part of a mass display of traffic stopping, dangerous bell-endery mind you. I'd suggest this is somewhat kicking the arse out of that teen rebellion leeway concept.

This was organised on Facebook to raise awareness about funding cuts to the NHS.
They were wearing t-shirt saying "ride for sasha" who is apparently someone who isn't getting the treatment she needs needs due to cut backs.
I'm not sure how nearly injuring yourselves helps the NHS, but I suppose they are making a stand about something.

Their point and cause is admirable if that was the case but it was a point lost on just about everyone, and I struggle to see what it did for either Sasha or for the NHS. Not a lot of point in performing some random, arguably damaging act which brings no benefit to the cause you're (supposedly) campaigning for.
