Who regularly enjoys a full cooked breakfast ?

Just listening to a hotel inspector talking about his job.
For TWENTY TWO years he eats a full breakfast every day. He reckons that is 3,000 (i have not done the math)
He has to have the same every day as he must compare like for like .
Sounds dreadful to me.

I have one at my local cafe, but only the day after a longish ride (say 80+ miles). It's much more enjoyable when guilt-free.

Probably about twice a year - I rarely spend hotel/B&B nights in the UK and when travelling for work a cooked breakfast is not really on offer.

The twice a year is when the kids nag me enough for me to make a 'fry up' at home, funnily enough there is no frying involved.

Every day for the last five days, but then I was trundling around the North of England on my bike, making a large, cooked breakfast a very useful bit of fuelling. Normally once or twice a week.

As he said.....he can't compare one hotels poached egg to another's fried egg etc

Ive never 'regularly' enjoyed one unless i was on holiday with family. Last one I ever had was probably a few years ago when I cooked one for my friends.

He let us have the couch and floor at his place for a weekend so my other friend sorted out dinner while i sorted out breakfast.

My favourite meal of the day. Love my breakfast, not that it’s ever anything other than cereal or porridge.

Once every 6 weeks or so and as an evening meal

I have egg on toast be it fried or scrambled with one of the following :-
sausage, bubble and squeak, black pudding, tomatoes, corn fritter, mushrooms or baked beans
today it was scrambled with cress and bubble and squeak

On some Saturdays at a cafe. The full hog. No compromises for climate, health etc. My only remaining vice I suppose.
