I'm tempted to get one of those for my commute - save all that pedalling nonsense. Does it cost much to charge it up / run it?

We couldn't ever teach our dog the trick of running alongside a bike. He was far too stupid - or just too inquisitive for his own good. So if he smelt something interesting on the other side of the bike, he just cut across in front/behind/underneath it......
I very quickly tired of that little game.

Well done Sara, sound like fun for you both.
On my commute sometimes I spot a girl whose dog trots on the lead while she rides her bike, at about 8 mph for a good 4 miles, dog does not miss a beat nor gets distracted.
The only reason she does not overtake me is because obviously they can't go on the road.
