Who turns out lights in your house?

For all the crap we take about ruining 'their' future, I have to say that in our house there's only one person who turns off unnecessary lights. No spoilers, but da yoot it ain't...

Me every time. Don't even get me started on the central heating as Mrs Slick would leave it on for a week to make sure the house was warm when she gets home. Nightmare

Scandinavians are notorious for leaving lights on throughout the day/night, even in summer.

Houses, shops, offices, industrial areas, everywhere - the lights are ALWAYS on.

It really annoys me.

No, not at all, but oil and gas is the basis for a thriving Norwegian economy. Other countries have other commodities at their disposal.

If its not our live in house girl it's the ECG (Electricity Company of Ghana), but euphemistically also known as Electricity Comes and Goes. They can just as easily go off during the day and is called 'light off'.

It's me in our house too.

On the heating thing, an architect friend tells me that due to metabolic differences, men prefer a temperature indoors around 3 degrees cooler than women. So either Mrs Knees wears a jumper indoors, or I'm in shorts and a t-shirt.
