Who uses their own Chamois Cream recipe ?

does it [Sudocrem] not make an almighty mess of your chamois pad ?

No, it's designed for a baby's bum, it washes out of clothing, nappies etc. on a normal wash.

I use Sudocrem on tours but nothing the rest of the time. £5.99/400g.

Aside from the time and faffing around I wouldn't risk applying a homemade concoction to that area of my body.
Yes, I don't know why people are sniffy about Sudocrem. I really think it's because it's cheap, and "Cycling stuff MUST be better." Madness!

It's really good, I'd recommend everyone try it before the over-priced shoot .... except that I've since discovered Conotrane! It's better AND cheaper  Slightly harder to find, but it's in most UK chemists. Also designed/tested on babies.

If you want value for money, then look no further than Udder Cream as used by farmers for decades.

Well when you've done over 350 miles in 24hours (all on flattish roads in about the same position), get back to us. :P
