Samid is coming across from Canada to cycle the NW of Scotland over the next couple of weeks, but he is starting from Edinburgh. Anyone one interested in meeting for a drink on Monday evening? I have agreed to meet him in The Peartree (West Nicolson Street) at the back of Eight if you want to come and join us, all welcome.

Please pass on my best wishes! I'm in Scotland in two weeks so will miss him in Edinburgh.
Well if you are ever passing through Auld Reekie do stop off and say hello to us all...

It might be my first (genuine) test of going into a pub and not actually drinking any alcobooze - yes, count me in, I always enjoy seeing Edinburgh so will happily make a day of it.

Now, how far is that from the station??

Edit: Ah yes, Googlemaps is a great thing! I know roughly where I'm going now.

Now, did I meet you at the Park Bistro on the 9th?? I am terrible with names, so I can't quite remember now.

Recently back from meeting up with HJ, Telemark and the Guest of Honour, Samid, in a (couple of) hostelries in Embra.

Lovely evening, great to meet Samid and look forward to riding with him and HJ on Wednesday to escort him out of the city and send him on his way rejoicing .

Good one, guys.

Why thank you - I'll be passing through on my way to a job interview on the 20th June, but I may have other things on my mind!
You may not want to go for a drink then, but if you'd like to meet up for a coffee or something... just let us know and we can round up a few of the locals to say hello.
