Who, me ?
I'm on the lookout for a 750ml drinks bottle. I'd expect a plastic bottle to sell for £2 - £3 max but I can't seem even to find one at less than a fiver. Is there something I'm not seeing here??

There are a few people in the line from manufacturing of base materials to handing over the counter to you that have bills and wages to pay.

Wait till the Tour comes close to you and you can pick up loads of freebies.

Halfords quite often do a buy one get one free on the plain £4 bottle , so using fingers and the basic maths i learned at school that's £2 per bottle

But you do have to wait for the offer

I always get mine from Halfords, and only ever pay 99p. Plain smoked grey, worked well enough so far..

We've got plastic water bottles coming out of our ears round here, son seems to get given them on a frequent basis, handy though for days out etc.
