Why do we accept tubeless, but not waxed chains?

Ah - good - the definitive answer there then :-) All is resolved.

In reality, it's just about preference, distributing maintenance tasks to different time slots. Personal preferences, rather than 'lies' !

There’s a part in the video where it shows how they fudged the data on watt savings.
I’ve been on group rides where the sealant has sprayed everywhere and they’ve put an inner tube in. Sometimes it’s hard to get the tire back on with a tube in. Just says it all.
I never had any problems with mine over the years but seeing other people’s fails has made me change back to clincher. I bet thousands have gone back.

You have to reapply the wax every 2-300 miles, that’s once a week for me, not once a month. I’m considering giving waxing a go, but probably drip wax rather than hot waxing. If hot waxing, how often do you use a new quick link? Some quick links are meant to be single use.

Also, how good is waxing in winter with wetter roads, more chance of getting caught in the rain and more road muck about?

The bolded bit is utter nonsense. I get 1,200 to 1,600 miles per wax.
If the weather is good I will do 250 miles a week outdoors.
