Plus the occasional long leisure ride...Went through a village recently and someone left boxes of eggs for sale at the end of their drive, with a little tin to drop your money in. Those crazy country bumpkins, with their rustic ways, what are they like, eh.

Got booted in the shin by a horse, it hurt to walk to the bus stop but hurt a lot less to cycle so started commuting, started to quite like pedalling through London. 6 months on after a minor bike vs black cab incident I have a shiny new road bike and doing ~100 miles a week, hoping to do more as the fitness improves! It's so satisfying getting somewhere under your own steam, especially when it involves a bump or two!!

I like the feel of my legs going round in a nice easy motion, speeding me along with hardly any effort at all.

And my bike is pretty. I like pootling along on my pretty bike.
