Why is it so blooming cold?

It a nice sunny day here but it’s windy and freezing cold.

Yesterday my wife turned the heating on, in May!

When will it get nice? I blame Michael Fish.

I went for a very short stroll earlier and it was lovely.....so I thought I would do it again tomorrow. Looked at the forecast and its 60% chance of rain😐.

The Local Authority in my area have a scheme to extract heat from the River (Tyne). I am fully expecting to see Icebergs floating out to sea shortly.

Strongish East wind out on the ride today, was very nice when you got out of it, but cold in it.

It was fairly chilly on the way in to work this morning, at about 7C. But nice and warm for the ride home, at 16-17C.

It is warm enough that I took the quilt off the bed last night, slept with just the quilt cover, and was completely comfortable. Hopefully won't need the quilt until October now, though I'll keep it out for a couple of weeks, so I can grab it if it does get colder.
