Stop bickering; the moral of the trail is cut it down to 2 panniers + tent on front.

And cut off the flags stuck on the back, the wind governs all our touring lives!

Still no one will post their average speed over 50 miles none stop cycle camping.??????

My average during my last trip to Scotland this summer was about 20 km/h, with 4 panniers/about 20kg of load IIRC. Nothing to write home about but then the point of cycle touring is not speed or is it?

Hi samid some information at last

my average is 7 to 12 MPH depending on the terrain

& I think most riders, cycle camping are in this band.

Even wind slick roadies when they decide 2 do some work

for a change.
