To be honest it is all a bit like the opening sequence of American Werewolf in London.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
If all you can quote are 2 people murdered 20 years ago when people and youngsters are being murdered left right and centre in the cities, you are ddefinitely scraping the barrel there.

Is the countryside really as safe as the tired old stereotypes make out though? Wasn't there a couple who were murdered, by shotgun I believe, in their remote Welsh farmhouse about 20 years ago, and still no one has been convicted of this crime? Wherever you live, you never really know who's lurking about outside ...

meibion usually burned the cottages before saes arrived.

come home to a real fire- buy a cottage in wales.
Previously the longest I’d spent in the country was a couple of weeks on the Isle of Skye, but that was alright as that was my honeymoon.
You should get out more! ;)

And your proud of that. ? Considering you dislike the cafe part so much because it consists of more than just cycling, you spend a great deal of time here. If you are serious where your unpleasant and uncalled for commentsa are concerened, there is something wrong with you.

I on the other hand was only joking. My comments were not said to upset, or offend anyone and if I did, then I apologise to anyone who may have been offended.

The English Countryside is a confection.....Many of the inhabitants are ugly..

:eek::cry:

.. and never speak to their neighbours except when they meet them by chance....

True, but they are a little way away, so meetings usually occur in the lane

... Nasal hair is widespread....

I definitely do NOT have nasal hair.

..So, for all that one has to deal with muppets in Range Rovers..

True.

....bad clothes....

Also true.

@hopeless500. I have to admit that some of my neighbours may look a bit like that, and there is quite a distance between us as well. I don't have a range rover either. The rest is debatable. Ha ha

Do you think the density of population might have any bearing on that? I'm sure I could find other grisly rural murders, if I could be bothered, but in this case I was just offering a defence to Crackle in the face of your rather silly mockery.

I think you will find it is called 'lighthearted banter'. Which you seem to dislike as you always do your best to disrupt wherever you find it.

You do know that rates of depression, suicide, unemployment and alchoholism are higher in rural areas than urban, don't you. I'd include the links but this is cafe not C&D. It wouldn't surprise me if murder rates per capita were higher too.

Anyway, as you were....
