aaaaaaah a classic video, i believe this has been posted many times..
The ally cat race of 2006.
The best bit for me is at about 1.27 when the rider nearly has a head on with a cop car.. i'm surprised they didn't have many more issues down oxford street.
It starts to get dangerous near the end when a few close calls with cars, peds and other cyclists. i've never seen people cycle like this in london and the couriers i do see do take a few risks but nothing like this.

I hate to say it, but some of the riding in that video is very skilled. It's a shame it's stupid, reckless and dangerous.

Actually makes me want to open a car door. Well, maybe a bit strong but....doubt I'd see them even looking carefully if I WAS opeing a door.

Wouldn't appreciate one of these nobs cutting me up leaving less room than the worst of drivers. And for what? To deliver an envelope? Why is delivering some corporate bullshit worth serious or fatal injury to messenger or other road user? Not like its an organ for transplant.

The next cyclist that taxi driver sees will get no space and no respect. All because some self-gratification artists want to show off. I presume that was the point of the shout at the end..to add the rider's name to it.

Nah, I bet they don't. They do have some skills and I do find the videos entertaining, even if I don't really condone that type of riding. They seem to be pretty aware, even if they are also pretty mad!

Terrible riding, absolutley no thought for their safety, or that of others. they bring it on themselves, total lack of responsibility, no regard for the law, the highway code, other road users, peds, they break every rule in the book, they must have scared the shoot out of hundreds of other people, themselves and each other, they thumb their noses at the law, make rude gestures at people who criticise them, and the RLJ count was beyond anything that would send most members' on here blood pressure through the roof.

In reality this probably isn't as dangerous as it looks- most of the time they're going round pretty much stationary vehicles. Still not a safe thing to do! The lack of reaction from pedestrians in the main part as cyclists shoot past at 25+mph is bizarre. Apart from the bloke at the end.
