Sometimes I know if I phone somebody I'll spend ages on the phone but a text only takes seconds.

I find it quite humorous when friends/relatives/acquaintances tell me with enormous pride about all the extra superduper gizmo's their mobile phones possess. I then ask them how does it perform as a phone? Most just say "Ok, I suppose." That's my cue to roll my eyes and shake my head.
