Do you really want to argue the fact that most of the UK is over populated?

Not where I live.

Apart from the obvious conurbations it is a very empty country. Try flying over it in a light aircraft to experience how empty it is.

Yes, the London Weighting does seem a bit of a nonsense. It doesn't reflect the additional, unavoidable costs of living there. Also, presumably there are lots of places with high costs of living (primarily but not exclusively the SE) but there is no weighting there?

apparently , according to some, its more expensive to live here, as we can afford to pay more so get charged more.......
