I have reserved one of these for accessorising before buying and gave it a brief spin today. It's a nice ride but the brakes need some extra squeezing and there is oddly little clearance below the front fork. Also the Deore shift is so much louder than my current bottom of the range Shimano grip shifting 3x7 gears though perhaps that is because of lack of lube. Though they are hydraulic disc brakes I needed to squeeze a little harder than the rim brakes on my cheap current bike. Maybe they typically bed in after some use. I don't now if these are bad warning signs. Has anyone been riding this model and would like to comment on it?

Did you ask the shop?
Brakes probably just need to bed in and not sure why a louder more definitive shift is a problem
