if you follow the instructions you will be fine... remember to purchase the 1kg or so of salt needed - this is the fixer than stops you dying yourself and everything else black. Of course the stitching is probably going to stay white and the pad will probably turn black(ish) as well... but it can't really be any worse than beige and looking like you are wearing nothing can it?

Following riders wearing white shorts can be "interesting", especially in low sun light or when it's raining! xx(

Buy a new pair and chuck those, your never get the beige out of spandex and equally from what I have read dyeing spandex is difficult. By the time you have got dye on you, your bike , your other clothes your be wishing you just went and bought a cheap pair.

I think @Cuchilo has a tale of woe to tell on this topic :stop:
Yep I sort of remember an 'ex-white short' moment a while back.

I would suspect your 'mate' had dyed his beige shorts without the salt as per sat nav and your good lady wife returned them to the original colour.

Incidentally 'too small' is the only size Castelli do.

Wonder who a Castelli size "small"would actually fit?
Might Just-about get this guy into one...
