I noticed she wasn't wearing her regular footwear about a mile into the ride, and already told her to not wear those again. She did realize it was a bad choose a few miles in, she's learning little steps.

I've done a little better than your good self, we've been married 25 years now & I've finally managed to make Mrs SD see the light & she seems to have the cycling bug, she's doing over 100 miles a week after a couple of months on the bike although it's flat as a pancake round here. She went out a few weeks ago (solo) & commented that after about 3 miles it didn't feel right Then she realised she had gone out in her slippers but bless her, rather than turn round & come home she carried on & did about 20 miles
