Having been one of the people who slated wiggle for not doing tourers previously my hat goes off to them. They do offer excellent service and now a better range of bikes too
As far as I'm concerned, mail order companies don't provide a complete service at all.
If I were spending that sort of money on a bike, service means being fitted for it, and getting a free first service to check everything is alright on the bike.
OK, you save a little bit of money, but paying the extra for proper support from a bricks and mortar shop is money well spent, IMO.
I got the Dawes Ultra Galaxy. A delicious bike. The Ti looks lush, but not keen on the idea of a titanium touring bike and it looks lush enough to attract the undesirable types far more.
