Well i've bought the thing but i can't find a slot where there'll be a memory card. It's going back if it wont take my old card.

The card slot will almost certainly be under the battery, likewise the sim.

Yeah, maybe, but they have been widely called MicroSD for at least 9 years, and that manual is at the most 6 years old. So I stand by "oddly".

Have a look at the manual linked by @jefmcg - it'll be a metal "frame" that you slide the card into.

Leave it turned off, but place on charge. Then leave it be until you're going to bed.
