I have a cunning plan worked out for a late afternoon spin. Head out with a tail wind into a southerly direction just long enough before the wind veers around to the East, enabling me to loop around into a cross wind for 4-5 miles before heading home with the wind behind me again.
Of course, this cunning plan is entirely reliant on the accuracy of the BBC online forecast, and also on the wind changing direction precisely at the end of each hour!
