I've not restarted the PC yet to see if Window 10 has removed the GRUB menu to Linux Mint. If it has, I'm probably going to go Ubuntu next

anybody else had .... Windows 10 upgrade from Win 7 stuck at 'Working on it' ?
(I turned it off after 45 minutes)

Mine took about 3 hours in total.

And I quite like it.

Just done my i5 laptop took about an hour and there isn't much difference from Windows 7 that was on it before, still need to have a good poke around.

empty the download folder DON'T delete the download folder, then check for updates

I found using the Windows 10 app update thing in the taskbar didn't work, but if you go to the normal windows update and click on check for updates, it might be there.

Well, here is the daft thing. Our HP Envy's sound is much louder with the new Win 10 - it wasn't able to go as loud as the HP Pavilion.

Weird ! Maybe the Beats audio works better ? Who knows. That Yakety Yak nearly knocked me off the sofa !!!
